Greensburg Tornado

Greensburg Tornado

On May 4, 2007, an EF-5 tornado struck the city of Greensburg at about 9:35 p.m. In the aftermath, it was discovered that approximately 90% of the town was destroyed or so heavily damaged as to not be repairable.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people of Greensburg. It will be a struggle for all but we believe that Greensburg remains a viable and valuable community.

On the pages following, are pictures of our offices following the tornado. Needless to say, they are no longer usable.

We will be in Greensburg on the first and third Monday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are bringing over an RV and parking it on the southeast corner of Main and U.S. 400 (in front of our former offices). For an appointment, please call 1-800-499-8881.
