AUDIT & ATTEST SERVICES

An audit expresses the highest level of assurance that can be provided on financial statements.

We are able to perform audits of financial statements for our clients in industry as well as for not-for-profit groups and employee benefit plans.  Frequently, these are done to comply with federal and state reporting requirements or loan agreements and other third-party arrangements.

 

A review provides limited assurance on financial statements based on inquiries of company personnel and analytical procedures applied to financial data.

A review is an economical alternative to performing an audit but does not express an opinion on the financial statements.  These are typically done to comply with bonding requirements.

 

A compilation collects and presents financial information in the form of financial statements without asserting any type of assurance.

A compilation is designed for private companies that do not have the need for an audit or review.

 

A projection is a forward looking prospective financial statement where one or more hypothetical assumptions have been made about the entity or business in question.

 

A forecast is a forward looking prospective financial statement that presents the expected financial position and cash flows using historical data of the entity or business in question.

 

Agreed upon procedures is the reporting on a given set of facts and information which is extremely limited in scope.
